lanier's sheep, graphite on paper 7" x 11" SOLDi just bought my plane ticket to come home for the holidays! i was thinking of last Christmas when i got to stay for one night on my sisters farm. i snapped a picture of some of the brood, which is where i got my idea for this little drawing.
stolen pansies, 5" x 7" oil on canvasmy mom always says "the more you pick them, the more they grow." so i prefer to think of myself as a gardener, rather than a thief! i couldn't resist grabbing a small handful of these smiling little flowers in my neighborhood.
MY mother always said, "never, under any circumstances, associate with a pansy thief."
ReplyDeletemaybe an exception could be made if the pansies go on to become immortalized in a lovely painting.
the sheep are great, too. if you ever run into the Little Prince you'll be ready to accommodate his sheep-drawing demands.
